I'm not very familiar with the geography of Australia, but I take it this is like a tourist getting off a plane in San Francisco, hopping into a cab, and demanding to be taken to the Grand Canyon:

The story about the American tourist who got off the plane in Sydney, hopped into a cab and demanded to be taken to Ayers Rock may well be apocryphal, but there are still plenty of tourists who don't understand how big this wide brown land really is.
