Icon105 A Secret of Love

Comment: I'm positive this isn't true, but it's all over the web, and I
think it should be addressed. For one thing, he isn't married to her, so
she isn't his wife, and they wouldn't be able to think about divorce
because they're not married.

Brad Pitt about His Wife

A Secret of Love

My wife got sick. She was constantly nervous because of problems at work,
personal life, her failures and problems with children. She has lost 30
pounds and weighted about 90 pounds in her 35 years. She got very skinny,
and was constantly crying. She was not a happy woman. She had suffered
from continuing headaches, heart pain and jammed nerves in her back and
ribs. She did not sleep well, falling asleep only in the morning and got
tired very quickly during the day. Our relationship was on the verge of
break up. Her beauty was leaving her somewhere, she had bags under her
eyes, she was poking her head, and stopped taking care of herself. She
refused to shoot the films and rejected any role. I lost hope and thought
that we’ll get divorced soon… But then I decided to act on it. After all I
’ve got the most beautiful woman on the earth. She is the ideal of more
than half of men and women on earth, and I was the one allowed to fall
asleep next to her and to hug her shoulders. I began to pepper her with
flowers, kisses and complements. I surprised her and pleased every minute.
I gave her lots of gifts and lived just for her. I spoke in public only
about her. I incorporated all themes in her direction. I praised her in
front of her own and our mutual friends. You won’t believe, but she has
blossomed. She became even better than before. She gained weight, was no
longer nervous and she loved me even more than ever. I had no clue that
she CAN love that much.

And then I realized one thing: ""The woman is the reflection of her man""

Oof. This reminds me of bad fanfiction that I've read.

First of all, it doesn't seem as though the writer is a native English speaker. There's a lot of subject-verb disagreement.

Secondly, this really isn't about Brad Pitt talking about how great his wife is, it's about how great he is. He just loved her so much that she "blossomed" and became a "reflection" of how great he is.

And what does "she was poking her head" mean?

Face-palm sort of thing, maybe?

Brad Pitt is hardly the picture of fidelity; one wonders what he might "say" about Jennifer Aniston.

I've read a couple things actually written by Brad Pitt. I don't believe for a minute he wrote the OP crap.

I agree. I found this on dozens of Pakistani and Malaysian sites; however, I couldn't find any evidence that it originated in either of those two countries. The interesting things I have found about is that it seems to have exploded in popularity within the last two weeks. I also couldn't find any references to it prior to May of this year.

I did this quote from 12 July 2012 on Twitter that's similar to the OP:
Quote:
"The woman is the reflection of her man. If you love her to the point of madness, she will become it". Brad Pitt
