I found this item in my local paper today.

Here's a new twist on the "rich guy in Africa" email scam: Now some folks are claiming to be military contractors trying to smuggle found millions out of Iraq - and they need my help. Apparently no one has told them that I'm not so good with money myself. I checked snopes.com and couldn't find anything on this scam, but I'm wary of a message that begins "Dear Friend", meaning that he doesn't know my name and yet he wants to share 10 percent of his war booty with me.
