Flame Sun dangers spelled out in UVA, UVB, SPF

Picking a sunscreen used to be as easy as counting to 15.

If you were correctly using a product with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, dermatologists said, you were doing a pretty good job of protecting yourself from the harmful effects of the sun, including sunburn, wrinkles and skin cancer.

But now skin doctors and sunscreen makers are attempting to re-educate sun lovers. SPF still matters, they say, but it's not the whole story.
