How would a company donate to the war on marijuana, anyway? The only ways that come to mind are paying for Don't Smoke Pot ads and lobbying the government to keep it illegal.
And as you say, that's a lot of money to donate to anything. |

I found one post where someone claimed they were donating to this organization, but again, that seems like a lot.

I went to their corporate site and skimmed their most recent CSR report and Annual Report to Investors. I didn't see anything indicating their stance on drugs or marijuana, just a lot about using sustainable materials for their products and giving back to the community (what you'd expect in corporate reports).

Plus you'd think $150M would stick out like a sore thumb in one of those reports.

Heck they could could hide $150 million even if they gave out $151 million a year. List a bunch of organizations who received $250 or $500 and CAMP.
Still the wiki article seemed to be a California based group concerned with law enforcement. With California's ongoing budget woes, donations to public agencies like that would be noted, don't you think? Ali |

Thanks, snopes/Barbara, for adding this to the main site.
