The idea of my dad moving out of his house and leaving all my mum's china behind will make me cry so hard I wake myself up.

My grandfather wasn't just a banker in life, he has gone on to deal with money in my dreams (that's been a recurring theme for my dream life, his being associated with found money or treasure). Also, I'm really bad with money in my dreams.
In my dream Grandpa was counting out money to me, fifties, around $1250. A few moments later, I realized I had a small wad of ones, fives, etc clutched in my hand but couldn't remember where I had put the fifties, and started frantically searching my pockets, purse, etc. Since I'm planning a small gambling trip this weekend, I hope this isn't an omen! |

I figured out how to pay off all of my bills last night. DH gets a ticket for a large commercial flight heading south. I sneak into an air freight company that is under its flight path. We land the plane in Mexico and we can either sell it on the black market which can be found on google or we can demolish it and recycle the metal for money. Unfortunately, the dream did not reveal how I got on the plane or how we got rid of everyone else on the flight.

If you're on a cruise ship in the early part of the 20th century, and need medical attention, there is an onboard nurse, but with office hours from 7 am to 5 pm only. If you go wake her up at 2 am though, she'll minister to your needs, but will scold you in a matronly way.

My dreams have recently taken a dramatic shift. For years I only dreamed of people that were no longer in my life. That has completely changed in the last week or so. Now my dreams are filled with people who I see or talk to all the time. I'm not sure what this means nor am I sure if I like it.

Has anyone else felt like they were remembering more dreams since they started posting in this thread? I almost never remember dreams (less than once a month), but have started remembering several dreams per week.

I've long kept a dream diary, though only for the ones I want to remember long term.

Beards are excellent devices for catching tears. My little sister is a bit of a drama queen and often cries when things don't go her way. So we made her grow a beard to soak up the spillage. It was a grey, fuzzy thing and looked like it had been drawn on her face with a pencil, but it did the job.

Sometimes I click on this thread without noticing which one it is. It's a slightly surreal experience.

Costco sells digital baggies, in bulk. Unfortunately the alarm went off just as I was explaining to my guy why we needed them.

Hot chocolate is better with splashes.
That was why the teachers/counselors at the end-of-the-year party had set up the old empty motorboat like a kiddie pool, so that we could have splashes with our hot chocolate. |

Apparently I can turn into a wolf and rescue someone from a gunman, but I then have to turn ito a swift and fly away really fast through long pedestrian subways to catch up with some people afterwards. And the London Underground is infested with multi-bodied snakes (a recurring dream theme - they're behind the wall panels!!).

If I show up a bit late to work (which for some reason is now at the site of my old intermediate school) on the day of a concert, I won't be able to find parking and will need to park out behind the pond along a trail covered in coarse rock salt crystals. It's OK, though, because the shop teacher will direct me and help me park safely without sliding my car off into a ditch.
The large peach-colored flowers that grow along the trail contain a highly toxic pollen, and if you're foolish enough to get some on you, you need to strip down and jump in the ice cold water in the small enclosed in-ground pool to wash it off immediately. For some unknown reason, someone has thrown what appears to be a perfectly good banana into the pool, and it's sitting on the bottom. Once you have washed, re-dressed and entered the building, you won't be able to get to the auditorium easily because of the Jewish students who are descending the narrow staircase. They are reciting from the Torah as part of their studies, and for some reason they each need to carry a bulky gilded wooden lectern with them. Yeah, this was a particularly weird one last night. |
