I actually have three feet, and they all hurt.

I apparently now work at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop (as seen on Pawn Stars). Except they won't let me use their bathroom, so when I needed a bathroom break I had to sneak out and pee in the alley behind the store. Chumlee seemed cool with it, though. Then when I woke up I had to pee in real life.

I'm back at secondary school again, only I've finally made it to Sixth Form in the dreamtime i.e. smart casual instead of uniform and I wasn't trying to find my textbooks/classroom/bits of uniform. But I had to help weed part of the school gardens and when I tried to get to the athletics field I found it was owned by another school about 3 miles along the main road.

I am apparently moving to a new home with my family (my dream self seems to have a family). The kitchen is miniscule and the one wall-mounted cupboard is full of mugs. However the lounge is a cinema (complete with red plush seats in rows) and also has access to a shared balcony overlooking the coast.

Crash

A few nights ago, I learned that one of the regional bus lines that I thought ended up at a county hospital actually goes to a place that I've never heard of, and that for some strange reason, I got on this bus. I was all confused when I finally got off in a residential area that I'd never seen or heard of.

Apparently when I moved here from the Seattle area I left behind a safety deposit box with several items in it, including a Thomas Guide (street atlas), with plans to pick them up when I returned. Which is interesting, because at the time I had no plans to return.

And the "manager" I spoke with earlier (no longer employed with the bank) seemed more interested in signing me up for a new account than in resolving the problem. He was reluctant to give me a refund unless I opened a new account. It's a good think I got the refund before I was charged fees on the two new accounts; I wouldn't have been nice about it.

And just because some people at your bank helped me doesn't mean I have to do business with your bank again. I can't take a chance on a problem like this again, with all the inconvenience it caused.

Thanks.

Bill

Well, as of last night it seems like I have a new account with the bank. I was persuaded by their zealous employee to write a check from my Bank of America account to them to start a new account with them. I must really enjoy being abused by bank employees.

Thanks.

Bill

I used to keep dreaming of getting the bus back to my old home on my school commute route. For some reason it always got stuck a couple of miles from my home. One night th bus got stuck in the depot and I woke up sobbing "but I just want to go home". I have always beeen terribly homesick for the place I lived till I was 16 and lots of my dreams involve trying to get back there and never quite making it (or I get there and the house isn't there any more, or the bus goes the wrong way and I can't find the right bus to get back).

I learned that a woman with long black hair and in costume at a Ren Fair will fall for me as soon as I dance a Pavane with her.

Oh... and kissing in dreams is dangerous, I almost always wake up before the lips touch. So, no kissing in my dreams!

Waking up is the only way to escape from giant snapping turtles. They will even chase you down the highway past all the car dealers, cross the median when you make a U-turn, and they don't stop at red lights.

Also, that the name "Mike", when automatically translated into some unfamiliar eastern european language, is spelled exactly the same as the word for "chicken nugget" in that language.

ETA: I just spent some time with babylon.com. I think it's polish.

I'm really good at wrestling mama black bears. Somehow this involves slapping them in the face with fish.

To escape a flash flood, follow the large numbers of cats and kittens running away from it.

True. It was the absence of any other animals that I found interesting.

If I fall asleep on a park bench (with electric blanket), people will give be high fives.

I also had an animated dream the other night, which I think is a first for me.

Work opened a Jamaican food counter. Unfortunately it didn't last long. Dream food still tasted good though Must check this week's menu - each week we have a "special day" with cuisine from a particular region.
