Another bit of information from my anomymous source which I forgot in the last post:

* Start with a milder solution. That will case numbness, and allow for a stronger solution to be used. For the first "shot", she said they first dipped the tampon in water, then gave it a quick dip in alcohol.

And, still, don't try this at home, at least not frequently!

The local affiliate of NBC (KSNV Channel 3) is teasing a story about an "alarming new trend" about how underage young people are consuming alcohol. The video images show tampons and bottles of unmarked clear alcohol which are obviously Absolut, Skyy and Bombay.

Well, either the story was killed or my search-fu is weak. I'm guessing they realized the fallacious nature of the tale and decided to not run it at all.
