Default I love deadlines...
Someone just claimed to me that "I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they go by.", generally attributed to Douglas Adams, is actually the creation of Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert.

what's the deal?

Well, it's in The Salmon of Doubt as one of his (Douglas Adam's) quotes so I'd imagine it's by him.
