At three minutes and four seconds after 2 AM on the 6th of May this year, the time and date will be 02:03:04 05/06/07.
This will never happen again. |

Why not? Unless we're assuming there won't be a 3007.

Unless you only use military time. For the rest of us, it will happen again later that afternoon.

As noted above it happens at least twice given the variations in date abbreviation across the western world. It also happens again in the Islamic calendar in a couple of hundred years as well as in a brace of other calendars I can't be bothered to look up right now.
It also happens again in 3007, 4007 etc. And next year we get 03:04:05 06/07/08. In 2012 we even get 07:08:09 10/11/12 just in time for the end of the world. Gosh, Mr Von Danniken, do you think it means something? Dropbear |

Yeah, well, anybody remember 12:34:56 on July 7, 1990? I remember. I was at church.

1/23/04 was my wedding day. I didn't notice the sequential numbers until somebody else pointed it out.

Military time? Are you perhaps referring to International Standard ISO 8601 which deals about how to write dates and times?

No...you BOTH got it wrong (and 12:34:56 7/7/89 doesn't make sense).
It was July 8 and August 7th, 1990. 12:34:56 7/8/90. However, on the eleventh second of the eleventh minute of the eleventh hour of Rememberance Day 2011, it will be 11:11:11 11/11/11. This will NEVER happen again.

While it's fair to say that it will probably never happen again in our lifetimes, technically it will happen twice every century, since the year is being expressed as only its last 2 digits, and because the time can be both AM and PM.

What? You thought I was being serious? (btw: you forgot 2211, 2311, 2411 etc)
BTW: Five posts ago, I had 1,234 posts. This will likely never happen again in my account.

Whoops! July wasn't a number, so it threw me off!
