Comment: My brother-in-law told me a story that happened in South America (He said
it was in either Chile or Argentina). There was an earthquake that destroyed a catholic church and during the rebuilding of the church they discovered a secret tomb filled with the corpes of babies. These babies were supposedly the love children of the priests and the nuns. He said this happened while he was in Argentina between 2001 and 2003. |

This is eerily similar to what I had no choice but to attribute to being a UL (when I was a KID even!), about a cave system between a European Monastary on one side of a mountain/hill and a Convent on the other side.
Supposedly the cave was riddled with tiny graves. Even 30 years ago I knew that it was missing a definite location, dates of occurance or discovery, or names of Monastary or Convent. It didn't matter that it was a teacher that told me... I guess I was a snopesing before I knew what my snopes was used for!!

That's why all monastery walls are so thick. You need that space for all of the babies. I mean what do you think is holding up those walls? Mortar? Actually, the word "mortar" comes from the Latin "mordor" which means baby bones. The stuff was made from grinding up bones and those of babies made the best mortar.
Or at least that's what I've heard....
