Not necessarily. All of my cats look about that long when they stretch out. Also, dogs and cats both tend to look unusually long-bodied or impressively large when they're held suspended like that (it's not a coincidence that hunting photos of wolves and large cats are often posed with the animal being hoisted in a similar manner).

Yeah I'd say that's pretty normal. Wonder what the backstory is? Is this just some form of basic animal cruelty or did they crucify it, in particular, as some sort of particular message? Poor thing. I hope it's dead, but the tie around its waist makes me wonder if that's to stop it wriggling around too much...

It looks pretty dead to me. It also looks like it died seriously pissed off.

The cord around the middle could also be to keep it from just flopping off the cross awkwardly.

I wonder why they did it.

When I tried to Google for info I found this isn't the first. One case involved the teens who were caught, laughing afterward when shown pics by the police.
