Along the same lines, there was a woman on the Frisco message board who was angry that she saw somebody using a cell phone while pumping their gas.
Two of us posted the Snopes article debunking it, and she replied something along the lines of, "Well! If YOU want to live your lives according to what Snopes tells you to do, go ahead! Just don't do it around me and put me and my family in danger!"
We then posted the Mythbusters page also debunking the myth, and then she got REALLY indignant!
