Have you seen the long version of the Aretha Franklin one? Once the "diva" un-divafies, the guy in the front seat turns around and says "Would you get your knees out of the back of my seat?" and it's Liza Minnelli.

So I just saw an ad for the movie "Tangled", which is formatted like a pharmaceutical commercial, with the same gentle voiceover and warnings, with clips of the movie to illustrate the maladies that the medicine (Rapunzel's hair) is supposed to heal. The medicine is called "Rapunzhair". They even have a generic pharmaceutical logo.
I caught it during SNL and I thought it was one of their spoof commercials! -RB |

As a rule, I dislike the Stella Artois commercials. But the Christmas one makes me both want to dance (very catchy music) and burst out laughing every time the guy kicks the other guy's ice piano.

Brilliant. So completely brilliant.
Though I would not want to take this family on in a game of charades... |

I like the Pillsbury "Home is Calling" ads especially the one where the girl is waiting at the train station in Siberia and closes her eyes and taps her feet and is in her living room.

Yes! That one cracks me the hell up. Especially when he throws the box of tissues at him.

I really like those Subway melt commercials with the grownups talking in kid voices too. I dunno what it is about them exactly, but something about the juxtaposition about the grownups expressions with the voices just makes me giggle every time.

Time to dust off an old classic commercial that I like.

My favorite guy in the black ops guy is the food service worker, 'cause he's so bada** in his apron and paper hat.

Yeah, besides, guns akimbo is always cool.
I like the fact that Chad Ochocinco and Jimmy Kimmel are in it. Especially when Kimmel falls on his butt after firing the RPG. |

I don't think they've played it since he died, but the Emerald nuts commercial with Robert Goulet climbing around on the ceiling always cracked me up.

The Capital One Vikings are back, taking on New York City at Christmas time! They have the goat, too.
Man I love those commercials. |

Especially the goat. I loved the one in LA, where the goat was the only one "on the list" to get into the club.

I like the "double-vented, quad-chambered chestnut roaster" commercial from Acura.
The actor looks like James Woods and acts like Christopher Walken. How cool is that? ![]() The chestnut... she is a fickle beast... |
