9/11: Pentagon aircraft hijack impossible

Pilots for 9/11 Truth has reported that the data stream from the flight
data recorder (FDR) for American Airlines flight 77, which allegedly
struck the Pentagon on 9/11, shows that the cockpit door never opened
during the entire 90 minute flight. The data was provided by the National
Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), which has refused to comment.

Gosh, perhaps there might be an alternative explanation, like ... this one:

The FDR parameter for the FLT DECK DOOR was not active and recorded on this model B757. Flight 77 was a B757-2 with "N" numbers, "of N644AA" indicating that it was built in late 1991, when this model was manufactured at Boeing. On this model the FDR did not record the state of this parameter in the FDR data, even though they left room for it and recorded this data later in the newer B757-3.

There is no indication that this model had ever been upgraded to a B757-3

The last 42 hours on the FDR data shows in fact no record of this function becoming active, meaning the door switch parameter had never been recorded as open on any of these flights even though this data covered 12 separate flights, again confirming that this FDR parameter was inoperative on this model of B757-2.

All that not changing the FDR was a government cover up done before hand. This way when the government took control with with remotes, no one would question the door not being open.

You would think the truthers would at least first look for a mundane explanation. Instead of running around pointing at something that does not look right to them saying it is proof of a government cover up. It is not helping there cause one bit.

Especially since the alternative is that non-Arab, non-Muslim American Airline pilots deliberately flew a passenger airliner into the Pentagon, and by an amazing coincidence did so on the very day that Middle Eastern terrorists hijacked three other airliners with the intent of flying them into buildings.

So have I understood the conspiracy correctly.

1. The US Government launched the attacks.
2. They did this in order to have an excuse to wage war in Afghanistan.
3. Out of the many places they could have targeted one they chose was the Pentagon - the main command and control centre for the US military and partially crippled it. The military that were to wage this war.

Can anyone else see the flaws between 2 and 3?

They knew that some Generals would oppose the war, so they targeted them in the Pentagon attack (the conspiracy theorists will probably find that office moves and/or meetings had been arranged to make certain officers vulnerable to attack)

Hold the phone - I thought the truther stance was that a plane didn't hit the Pentagon; a missile did. (No debris and all that, abundant evidence to the contrary notwithstanding.) Do you mean to tell me that there's dissension in the truther ranks?

All this nonsense about the U.S. government striking both the WTC and the Pentagon so that they could have an excuse to go to war in both Afghanistan and Iraq makes no sense. Why would they use a missle to attack the Pentagon and then claim that a hijacked jet attacked it? The military aircraft that flew close to the Pentagon shortly before American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon did not fire any missile. The serviceman who flew that military craft testified that no missile was fired. Also, if the Pentagon and the military were damaged, then any war action were no doubt be delayed. Therefore, the government conspiracy makes no sense.

That's the neat thing about being a conspiracy nut. You don't ever have to be in agreement with anyone else. You can have 100,000 people spouting 100,000 different contradictory theories. All you have to do is muddy the water enough that the average lay person (who doesn't have the time or the inclination to spends hundreds of hours reading up on all of the facts) will say "clearly something isn't right with that official story of what happened."

In fact I've noticed conspiracy nuts almost always make pot shots at even bigger conspiracy nuts in their conspiracies.
