TV Oil on the Brain

I was browsing the book Oil on the Brain, which starts out with a description of service stations: their history, how they're operated, what their profit margins are like, etc. "This is interesting stuff," I thought, so I flipped to the end notes to see what sources the author had used and was totally surprised to find that one of her sources was ... us. (She cited our article about AIDS-tainted needles on gas pump handles.)

To top it off, after I got home from the library I had to go outside to receive a package from our mailman, and when he handed it to me he said that he'd seen me on TV.
