Giant croc photo sparks ownership dispute

A remarkable photograph of a giant crocodile measuring 22 ft. from nose to tail has sparked a war of words in Australia over which state the beast belongs to.

Two points:

1) For such a huge controversy, and such a huge croc, there has been a remarkable lack of press about this locally.

b) My husband owns a similarly aged landcruiser ute. My daughter is 10 yo, around 4'10 and above the 90th percentile for height/age. When she stands next to the ute the top of the tray comes just above the top of her shoulder. The girl in the photo looks to be at most 6 yo; that's one really tall 6 yo.

ETA: Turns out the ute pictured is probably a landcruiser FJ 40or 45 series trayback made from 1960 to 1984 (DH's is the next series up FJ75).

Agreed, not only that but her feet are lower than the wheels. My almost 9 year old is much, much shorter than that girl, she is in the 5th percentile for height and weight but she is still taller than the average 6 year old though.
