Computer Trade your kids for a PlayStation 3

Comment: This was told to me by my sister's boyfriend -- who is truly an
idiot. It sounds like an urban legend or something from the Onion. I
looked on Google but didn't run across anything that sounded like the
story. I thought it sounded like an urban legend -- particularly the part
where the FCC responds to something quickly. but you never know -- so I
thought I'd send it your way and see if you guys had run across it.

Anyway, the story went something like this:

A DJ on a radio station in Oklahoma (near Lawton) announced that he had
several Playstation 3s to give-away. He said that he would give you a
Playstation 3 if you would bring your children down to the radio station
and leave them there from 7pm to midnight for one night. He said he hated
children and would do nothing to care for them -- other than to put them
in a room and to shut the door behind him.

Every time he came back on the air, he repeatedly said how much he hated
children but that you could trade your child for a Playstation 3. After a
couple of hours, the DJ said he had 62 people who responded to his offer.
This "promotion" ended when the FCC shut him down and took the station off
the air, and the people who called in to trade their kids are all being
investigated by Child Protective Services.

No word if anyone actually received the Playstation 3.
