Neener, Neener How smart is your right foot?

I got the following e-mail from a friend today. I apologize if this was posted before, I couldn't find it with a quick search.

I can't do it, can you?

How Smart Is Your Right Foot?

Just try this. It is from an orthopedic surgeon. This will
boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again
to see if you can outsmart your right foot - but you can't.

It's preprogrammed in your brain!

1. WITHOUT anyone watching you - they will think you are GOOFY,
and while sitting where you are at your desk in front of your
computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise
circles with it.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number six in the air with
your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so! And there's nothing you can do about it!

You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is
done, you are going to try it again, if haven't already done so.

My left foot is similarly weak-willed.

I have no problem spinning my foot clockwise and writing a 6 in the air. I'm weird I guess.

I couldn't do it, but I can pat my head and rub my belly at the same time. Interesting, guess I'm just weird too.

It doesn't change directions... but it seems to experience a big hesitation, and that circle is less smooth.

I could do it on the second try... but only by concentrating really hard.

I can't even attempt it. I have two left feet.

Okay....I tried it a dozen times because I was trying to see if there was something I was missing.

On the first try, it seemed I did it with no problems whatsoever. So I had to try it again to make sure. On the second try, my foot reversed direction without me even noticing. Hmm... On the third try, I again did it without any problems whatsoever. On the fourth try, I caught my foot as it was about to reverse direction. I was so befuddled, I couldn't do the number six. On the fifth try, I did it very slowly as I made sure I worked through both.

On each try after that, I would alternate being able to do it and not being able to do it. Definitely interesting.

I had no problems the first, second, or even tenth tries. Mainly because I'm one of the wierdos who start drawing my sixes from the inside out, which is of course clockwise to begin with. Most people start outside in which is counterclockwise.
