Bang Head I hate those blue headlights!

With a passion. They are way too bright, aimed way too high and are like an ice pick in my eyes, especially when a vehicle with those obnoxious migraine-makers are right behind me. to the 10th power.
I don't know what the inventor of those lights got, but I would've given him the chair. I think even the most ardent opponent of capital punishment would make an exception in this case.
Either tone 'em down, point 'em down, or abolish them!

I heartily agree. Having blue in the first place was a bad idea, considering how our eyes react to blue light in the dark. Then so many of them are so bright, and pointed so badly. I'm not the most confident or experienced of drivers anyway, and I hate running into those things.

Those flashing neon lights people put on the underside of their cars are even worse.

However, it makes driving at night a whole lot easier when you have them. Because it's a cool, bright, white light instead of the warm yellowish of ordinary head lights, it really illuminates the road and makes it much much easier to see. I'd all but stopped driving at night but now I can get myself around town with no problem.

But yea, it can be hard when they're on coming.

Oh lord, yes. I can't stand them either. I get that they offer better illumination of the road, but so do flicking on your brights. The amber-ish off-white lights are sooo much easier on the eyes--and pretty much all headlights mess me up when I look right into them, so I try not to drive at night as much as humanly possible. But those blue ones! Make me wish for a scatter gun and a stationary target.

You can't drive around in traffic with your brights on, that's actually more blinding than the new lights! And lord when I throw my brights on I can light up the road for miles.

You were stuck in that garbage yesterday weren't you?

Yesterday the stoplights in our county went nuts & the county couldn't set them to the rush hour setting so all day yesterday AND today every lighted intersection had it's lights set to normal. Which meant 2 cars could get through an intersection where normally 20 could get through during rush hour.

Today they were giving free rides on the county bus system because of it.

'Fraid so. The morning commute wasn't so bad, but the fun started last evening once I got off a very crowded Beltway. Kensington and the surrounding roads were FUBAR.

This in addition to the migraine-makers, aka the blue lights I mentioned in the OP.

Blue light can also ruin your night vision even if it's not all that bright. That's why people reading maps at night often use a RED filter on their flashlights. It amazes me how many newer cars use blue light to light the instrument panels of cars. :/
