On the front lines of the H1N1 outbreak, tens of thousands of doctors and nurses are scrambling to get vaccinated. One nurse says it's like 'asking us to fight a war without protection.'

I'm a nurse and the parent of a child under 6 months, and I still couldn't get my hands on the H1N1 vaccine. My workplace is currently waiting for authorization to provide it, and my primary care provider has run out after giving it to its highest priority patients.
It's a moot point anyways, since I found out yesterday I have a probable case of H1N1. At least I can enjoy my sweet sweet Tamiflu and several days away from work. The worst part is when I think about how many days I worked and how much I cuddled my baby before showing any symptoms.
