Mom posts 9 year old's phone number to Craigslist Adult Section

Heard this on the radio today and looked it up - apparently it's from July.

A 40 year old Long Island Social Worker has allegedly used the adult section at Craigslist to exact revenge on a nine year old girl, who hit her 4 year old daughter at school:

Wow...

Now, I would be pissed off if a kid nearly twice my kid's age hit them. But I would contact first the school (since it's most likely that that's where the hitting took place), and then request the contact information of the other family to do something REALLY bizarre and, uh, talk to the other parents about their child's behavior. I would honestly think that's a no-brainer.

But hey, why do something sensible when you can commit a crime and expose a child to sexual predators, right?

I'm guessing this meant she also had a kid in the same class as the 9 year old. You'd think a social worker could figure out a better response to this.

I understand becoming enraged when someone hurts your child. A bigger kid once shoved my four year old to get ahead of her in line for a sliding board in a playground, and she fell to the ground and started crying. My immediate emotional response was to want to run over and snatch the other kid up and start screaming at him. Of course I did no such thing, you know, being an adult and all, and was able to control my emotions and point it out to the other child's parent who made her son apologize.

I could never imagine myself getting angry enough at a little kid to want to do something that would expose her to sexual predators, and then actually going through with it though. This woman is sick.

I'm not in any way excusing what this woman did, as I think it was sick, stupid and immature, but now that two people have said she exposed the girl to sexual predators, I just wanted to point out that she didn't say the girl was 9 in the ad. The ad made it sound like she was a willing adult, so even if the girl was being exposed to horny people or perverts, she wasn't necessarily being exposed to sexual predators (at least not in the "To Catch a Predator"/pedo sense of the term).
