Crash

Holy cow, it's like the writer cut a deck of cards and then shuffled them!
I got a tetanus shot back in 1990 and again two years ago and the only adverse reactions I've had was soreness at the site.
Nice little hodge-podge of horrors though.

Say, don't high doses of Vitamin D lead to excess calcium deposits? That's not good!

Some kid in one of my lectures decided to regale us all with his tale of how the H1N1 vaccine is fake and is just a scam by pharmaceutical companies to make more money. My response was, "Really? Every single person in every single company that worked on this vaccine at every single stage was in on this hoax? And the health authorities of every country that approved it? The ones working for the governments that will be the ones picking up the tab on the vaccine? Really?"

Blaylock also thinks that his wife having mercury fillings caused his kid's autism. I don't believe anything he says. Also, he's full of crap on the whole squalene thing.

According to the CDC (but who can trust them, right?) there are NO adjuvants in either the seasonal flu vaccine or the H1N1 vaccine. They have a supply in case they're needed (if the virus mutates,) but the mass deployed vaccines have no adjuvants in them.

He's a quack. He's a well known quack that has a lot of people believing his junk science and follows his anti-vax recommendations without a second thought. He uses scare tactics instead of facts. I'm all for people delaying or selectively vaxing, but use facts instead of conspiracy theories to make those decisions!

Factcheck.org is not my favorite site, but I just saw this about flu vaccines..

Does that sound a little peevish? I think these folks might be suffering from birther disbelief syndrome, when the reader's cherished beliefs do not match reality. Squalene is not in the flu vaccine.

I'm dying to know if you got a response from him.

Doctor Blaylock? Well if a doctor said it, it must be true.

what a mess. The minute I saw the word HIV vaccine (which doesn't exist) I knew for sure he was a crackpot. Also, I'd love to see evidence of all of the studies he claims support his claims. In addition, as far as I know, the H1N1 vaccine has not been made any more quickly than any other vaccine. Does he know how they work? They don't use the same stuff every year. He's just an idiot.

On that note, it will definitely improve your chances of surviving H1N1 if you post naked pix of yourself to the snopester pix thread.

Except for SatansHobbitt -- he's done it so many times he's immunosuppressed by now.

He could always sell his blood as a vaccine...

Do they have to be authentic? I don’t think the camera would survive.

Heh. My "response" was actually to a classmate of mine later on, when he wasn't around. I'm much better at arguing this crap after the fact. Usually at the time I'm too busy marvelling in shock at the stupidity to form a coherent response.

Slight hijack:

IF the thimerosol in vaccines did cause autism, then wouldn't all of us who have been vaccinated between, say, 1950 and 1990, have some degree of autism? Riddle me that, conspiracy theorists! And, if no vaccines made after 1990 contain this stuff, then wouldn't the number of autism cases be down because there was no longer thimerosol in vaccines?
Methinks that there are more cases of autism because of greater awareness of the symptoms, refined diagnostic tools, and maybe paternal age. I just heard the latter earlier this week.

"A causes B" doesn't necessarily mean "everyone who is exposed to A will contract B."

Aspartame is only deadly when served in upper case.
