Pdf files coming up from a google search have a "quick view" option. I don't know how long it's been there, but I only noticed it recently. It seems to be able to sidestep restrictions e.g where the pdf is from a subscriber only journal. I can't download the pdfs but I can view the file as a google docs .dvi file, or as html. How can google get the data or am I missing something?
