Riverview Community Bank, a firm that attracted national media attention several years ago for espousing prayer in the workplace, has been shut down by state regulators.

Jaded

I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the ACLU is blamed for shutting them down.

Clearly, the FDIC hates Jesus.

I wonder how the teabagger types feel about the FDIC. Do you think when their banks fail, they nobly refuse the money?

The prayer part didn't really even need to be brought up. Prayer had nothing to do with the reason it was shut down. It really did not need to be mentioned in the story. Just an attention getter plain and simple. No other need to even mention it.

Likewise, there was no need for Soupy Sales' obituaries to mention his getting hit in the face with pies, because it had nothing to do with the cause of his death.
