Message board outage
As I'm sure most of you noticed, this message board was unreachable for several hours today (due to a routing problem at the data center where the server is located). In the future, I'll use our Twitter account to post status updates when such outages occur.

We can only hope that the next outage does not coincide with the much too common appearance of the Fail Whale.

Didn't actually notice, but somehow I think this thread is contradicting the other one: Monday, Oct. 26, is 'most unproductive day'
How are we supposed to be unproductive if snopes is down? Thank you for the twitter link - the next time there's an extended outage, I'll know to check it.
