The Sex Pistols are threatening legal action against a boutique ice-cream maker for using the advertising strapline "God Save the Cream" and images of a version of the band's famous single sleeve featuring the Queen on a union flag background.
Icecreamists, the company behind the ad campaign, describes itself as a "subversive ice-cream brand" and is running a concession within the Selfridges storefront on Oxford Street, central London, until November. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009...tols-ice-cream
