Ponder What's up with the board clock?

It seems to be off by an hour. And yes, I checked that my time zone settings are correct. Did it "fall back" a little early or something?

Not a big deal, just curious.

So am I the only one with this problem? When I post this, the little clocky thingy in the lower right hand side of my computer screen will say it's 11:55 AM (earlier today I synchronized with the Atomic Clock). My user settings are for Pacific time, automatically detect DST. And when I post it, it will show up as having been posted at 10:55 AM. And all other messages show as an hour earlier than posted.

ETA: No, actually it says it was posted at 9:55 AM.

D'oh!

Hm. Now that I have my watch and some of my brain with me, I see I reset my clock ahead an extra hour when I visited the Atomic Clock; it's fixed now, so the board and I are once again out of sync only one hour. It's been that way for me a couple of days at least. I have rebooted my computer a few times since then; if it's just me, I have no idea what's causing it, or the solution.

ETA: AND NOW, IT'S CORRECT! Guess I fixed it. Genius!

Computer

In your profile settings, try turning the "DST Correction Option" to always off.

On my computer the time of your post #3 shows up as 6:55pm (My profile is set to BST). Since you are 7 hours behind us that would make it 11:55am Pacific - which is correct.
