Ate Hicks Tamales in Clarksburg, MS a la President Clinton and Alton Brown.
In New Orleans, ate at K-Paul's, The Commander's Palace, The Crazy Lobster, The Court of Two Sisters, Cannon's, Pascal's Manale Restaurant, Upperline and a few others that I can't think of right now. In Atlanta it was Max Lager's Wood-Fired Grill & Brewery What other Great Eats have you all experienced?

I always liked Johnny Harris in Savannah, GA and The Great Lakes Brewery in Cleveland, OH. That's about all I have. I don't get out much.

Antoine's in New Orleans is my favorite resturant in the entire universe. Also try Cafe Maspero if you ever go back there. There's Christie's in Houston. And Gibson's Steakhouse in Chicago.

Cafe Mimo in New Bedford, MA - great Portuguese food at ridiculously low prices.

Not exactly a vacation spot, but those traveling between Houston and San Antonio should make a concerted effort to try City Market BBQ in Luling. It is the best BBQ in the entire world, well, ok top 10 then. 20 miles west in Seguin is Christina's, home of the best enchiladas in the world.

In Quebec City, Quebec: dinner buffet at L'Astral and breakfast buffet at Le Chateau Frontenac.
Had a great dinner at the italian restaurant in Epcot, WDW Florida: Tutto Italia There's also a great italian restaurant in St. John NB but I can't remember the name of it and unfortunately googling doesn't help (because they all sound right). Houston's in Pompano Beach Florida is great. Beautiful location, great food. |
