(I don't know if this may have already found its way to Snopes, but I'm going to take a chance.)
I was reading some articles at Advocate.com and there was an article that linked to a blogger who'd found some very nice photo manips. The blog is http://tresfabsweetie.blogspot.com/2...perheroes.html and all are reasonably safe for work (though the last one might be pushing it just a bit--there's no frontal nudity on any of them but the last image shows the model/character lying on his stomach with bare buttcheeks). As the blogger notes, these were produced by someone going by the name "Mindsweeper" but little is known about the person who developed these very nice images. One commenter IDs the characters--for those who might not recognize them--and another IDs the last character but I'm not really sure the last one is right. (But who cares? ) Based on the pictures, I'm guessing the original photos were either nudes or in rather snug underwear. For the record, the models are all guys. Now, I think I'm off to capture the pics and save to my computer.

Oh, goddess...Cosmic Boy and his corset. A perfect choice for the subject matter, but, boy is that thing silly looking. (Not that Cos ever really had a good costume.)
The model for Power Boy has really ugly nipples, so Mindsweeper should really have kept to the comics and just shown an expanse of hairy chest (cloning the nipple out of positioning/sizing the window to cover it). I'm not going to comment on Bucky's bare butt. And, oddly, the costumes don't look particularly painted on compared to some actual comic art. (See here, for example.) Quote:
Black Lightning's lightning rod gives a similar impression. I think Cosmic Boy may have been in SHORT shorts, rather than snug ones, by the look of the leg/costume border. * Nightwing, for those not in the know, was Dick (*snicker*) Grayson, the first Robin, and current Batman.
