A designer has constructed a chandelier made entirely from gummy bear sweets.

But don't gummy bears soften when they are warmed up? Wouldn't that cause somewhat of a problem with a light source? Even fluorescent bulbs carry a little bit of heat. That said, the chandelier is very cool. The rug, though, no thanks eww.

Can anybody else imagine there might be an issue with ants?

Wait, why are gummi bears dangerous?

Well, they're really not unless you're an ogre or a nefarious duke...
I wonder whether the artist is talking about the sugar/corn syrup?

They do soften up (melt even) when heated, I have used them in cake decoration that way. However, the temperature needed isn't that low, I think if there's enough space between light source and bear it should work. Also, I hope that the Artist tested this extensively before putting it up for sale.
