Default Booing Limbaugh's Play for the Rams

http://www.theatlanticwire.com/opini...+the+Rams-1240

Quote:
Shortly after the news broke on Tuesday that talk-radio kingpin Rush Limbaugh had put in a bid to buy the St. Louis Rams pro-football team, sports and political bloggers began the chorus of boos. Winners of the Super Bowl a decade ago, the Rams have recently been stuck in the longest-losing streak in NFL history and have seen a massive slide in value. Limbaugh, for his part, signed a $400 million dollar, 8-year contract with Clear Channel just last year. What will it mean if conservative talk-radio's most successful host gets control of the NFL's least successful team?

You've put the loser in charge of the losers?

From the thread title, I thought Limbaugh had written a play.

I thought maybe he got out from behind his microphone, put down the drugs, and actually threw a football or something. Guess not. What does this mean for the Rams? Frankly I don't care, but more likely than not it means they'l be wearing a crossed out Obama on the back of their jerseys and having their names changed to "Obamination" or something equally idiotic.

They probably won't throw or kick - every play will be a Rush.

It seems to me that the people who are objecting to the concept of Rush Limbaugh's buying a football team don't recognize a distinction between Rush Limbaugh the radio entertainer and Rush Limbaugh the person. It's sort of like of complaining that if Paul Reubens were allowed to buy an NFL franchise, he'd have all the players on the field wearing red bow ties and white shoes.

I was parsing it as a group named the Booing Limbaughs were playing at Ram's games.
