Your interwebs are blowing up at a YouTube clip that documents a Glenn Beck photo shoot, where the Fox News host has a substance, presumably Vicks VapoRub, applied to his face so that he can manufacture some tears for the photographer.

Glenn Beck and Fox News being dishonest about something? Well I, for one, am shocked!

I wouldn't call this dishonest. Isn't it routine to make faces, poses, etc. in photoshoots that might not be what you're actually feeling? Everyone knows it's just a photoshoot.
If he did it in an actual broadcast when he was pretending to show real emotion, I would respond much differently.

Fair enough. But given that it's Glenn Beck, I'll go with dishonest anyway. If only by default.

But how wimpy! Real actors can produce tears by thinking sad thoughts. (A few losers do it by tugging at their nostril hairs!)

If he were a real bonafide red-blooded 'merican he'd just get somebody to kick him in the face with their cowboy boots, that there'd do the trick!
