My wife and I went grocery shopping this morning. While we were waiting at the deli counter, a woman approached us and asked if we had heard that "they" were giving flu shots so that everyone would get sick. Before she could rant on, I asked if she had seen this on the Internet. When she said yes, I told her to come and check out snopes, as it debunks urban legends and things like this. She said that "medical doctors" were saying it. I then proceeded to ignore her while my wife gave her some vague brush off.
Where are people coming up with this crap? And who approaches random strangers in a grocery store to pass that crap along? Thank Hashem that even my friends who pass on junk don't pass on total crap like this.
