Motorist blows through gate at airport, skips on $917 parking fee
A late-model Chevrolet Suburban parked for almost two months sped through an airport collection booth without paying a $917 bill, according to Orlando police.

Yeah, it's pretty stupid to assume that they wouldn't record your license number in some way. I wouldn't necessarily think that they'd check the lot daily, more that there would be a camera at the toll booth. Perhaps he thought that he'd be able to claim that he was only there for a day or two, pay that amount plus a minimal fine and be fine. Guess he'd have thought wrong.
