Woman: McDonald's Employee Spit in My Drink

A woman told Seattle police a McDonald's employee spit in her iced tea, and a restaurant manager has filed an internal report and said video surveillance would be reviewed.

"Some people may laugh and smirk about this, but it's not very funny," the woman said, who hasn't gotten a restaurant drink since. "I don't think I'll feel safe enough to do this again."

Okay, I understand that it's freaking disgusting and I would raise holy hell if someone spat in my drink, but... really? If this is enough to turn you off of going to 'a restaurant' (not sure whether Mickey D's really qualifies), perhaps that is one particular activity that you should really never, ever engage in again. One of the advantages of a place like McDonald's is that if you pay attention you can see everything that is done behind the counter. Such is not the case with actual restaurants.
