And has an eerily unchanging expression:

Site is undergoing Server Maintenance so I can't see it at the moment. I will say if it's a "smile" then I find it favorable to Bush's unchanging "dumbfounded" look that we got to see for the last 8 years....

Wow, politican with big cheesy grin he uses for every photo shoot. I'm glad no other politician on the face of this planet has ever done that before. Carter has had the same ... we'll call it a smile for what 50 years now? Then there was Clinton's patented "I'm trying to look thoughtful" look. And Laura Bush's pasted on grin. Seriously, is there a point here?

Is there a point to any time lapse photography? Art is such a waste of time...

I was asking because it doesn't seem that there is any innocent posting of Obama these days. It seems as though every thing found "in the wild" is trying to make some sinister point. I assumed this one was too. Maybe the artist was implying Obama is really a robot or a cardboard cut-out.

I was actually going to suggest that's how he made this video--cutout or cut/paste, until I watched it a few more times and realized the eyes really did move. Occasionally he is subtly looking left, then right, then straight on. Could still be easily faked, but then again....

Smiling? Smiling with other people, in photo opportunities? Its obvious he is the anti-Christ. We have to impeach him now and just ban Democrats from ever running for higher office. It is just the only thing we can do!

A strawman argument?

I'm as defensive of Obama as the next guy (or, in my case, gal), but I didn't get anything inherently sinister about this. In fact, I found it pretty funny and actually downright impressive. That is one consistent smile.
Now, if anyone in my family were to send this to me, I would have a hard time laughing, since they would certainly have ulterior motives. |

I'm not sure what you're driving at here. I'll outline my thought process in this thread:
Interesting title, I wonder what it's about. Well, that seems fairly innocent, really. Wonder why the guy made it. Lots of people smile for photos. Nothing sinister about that. I shall post about seeing nothing sinister about Obama smiling. I just got called on why I posted there is nothing sinister about Obama smiling. I should probably explain my reasoning. I think dfresh understands where my reasoning was coming from. I shall joke with dfresh. I see Roadie posted. Now I'm confused. I should post explaining myself again. So that's where we are. I assumed, wrongly as it turns out, the video in the OP was trying to suggest something sinister in Obama smiling for the cameras. Thus I went off on how lots of politicans have the same "look", sometimes over decades. There, I think we're all on the same page now.

I already admitted I had a knee-jerk reaction.
