Throw Tomato After loss to Lions, will the Redskins fire Jim Zorn this week?

Redskins fans booed when the team won at home against the Rams a week ago. What would they have done if Sunday's loss to the Lions had come at home, instead of Detroit?

Expect Redskins coach Jim Zorn to feel intense pressure after his team fell to 1-2 and became the first team to lose to the Lions since 2007.

Icon05 Can anyone answer this dumb question?

What has been up with the Redskins for the past decade anyway? Back in the mid-late 80s they were a force to be reckoned with but now they're beaten by the Detroit Lions!
I know that any athlete cannot maintain top form, and that people leave through retirement, going to other teams, etc, but this is just pathetic. I've observed that many of the Redskins' past coaches have gone on to other teams and done a pretty good job with them. Norv Turner is now the coach of the Chargers right? From what I've heard they're not doing too bad.
Is it Dan Snyder himself? I have heard that he is not well liked among both fans and other team owners. Is Snyder a meddling little twerp or is he not paying out big bucks for good players?
Oh, if you want Skins tickets, now is the time to get them--good seats can be had for as little as $25.

Dawn--don't all rush to the web at once--Storm

I don't think Zorn is going to get fired quite yet. My feeling is that Ole Dan will wait until a crappy season is assured (like say 8-8 or worse).

Teams come and go in cycles. But mostly in this case, I blame the owner for mismanagement and knee-jerk reactions. How much money has Snyder invested in this team (if you want to call it a team, since there seems to be little cohesion) and yet to see results of all this spending? How many coaches and QBs can you name in the last 10-15 years? They don't play as a team because they aren't given enough time to form up as a team, especially without fear from the man upstairs.

All I have to say about Dan Snyder is that he's friends with Tom Cruise.

Nuff said.

He also doesn't have a pool at his house. Maybe that's his problem. If he had a pool he could chillax & maybe Tommygirl could bring in his $ceintolofriends & slap some org & tech on them & work his mojo!

But seriously folks, the reason it's so hard for fans to take is that some remember the days when, even if they didn't make the Superbowl, they either made playoffs or, at the very least, had a winning season. Once upon a time they were a decent team. Some fans long for the good old days of the Fun Bunch, Riggo & the Hogs.

Thankfully I gave up watching football for the most part. I decided that there's better things to be doing all day Sunday than sitting around watching football.
