A YouTube video featuring a "flash mob" heckling German Chancellor Angela Merkel at an election rally has been watched by more than a quarter of a million people.

Hey! That's my hometown, and I even know somebody who was in the flash mob!
To give you a little more information: In her campaign for the upcoming federal election (next Sunday), Chancellor Merkel gave a public address in Hamburg. This was annonced by posters saying "Angela Merkel kommt" ("Angela Merkel is coming"), upon one somebody wrote "Und alle so: Yeah!" ("Everybody go: Yeah!") in black marker. From there sprang the idea of a flash mob. When Merkel gave her address, a group of people in the crowd commented every other sentence with "Yeah!" in mock enthusiasm. From what I hear, it must have been fun. I'm a bit disappointed that it wasn't any kind of political protest (apart from the fact that people probably wouldn't do that to a politician they like).
