Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall’s alleged ongoing feud is threatening the future of the second ‘Sex and the City’ movie.
The actresses – who didn’t get on when they filmed the six series of the TV show and the first movie adaptation in 2008 – are said to dislike each other so much they refuse to talk to one another, leaving the rest of the cast and crew feeling uncomfortable on set. http://www.azcentral.com/ent/celeb/a...90922satc.html |

Uh... who cares? I honestly don't see why that show is popular at all.

I honestly don't see why watching football is popular, but it is.

I found it more annoying than anything else. Except for the episode with Jon Bon Jovi cause he's pretty droolworthy in any form. |

I like the show okay; they are women I am highly unlikely to know in real life, but it was good escapism. I actually liked the movie a lot better than the series.
And I also like football. Oh, and do coworkers have to be friends with each other?

No. And in most settings, I imagine someone would take these "women" aside and tell them to make nice so everybody can get their work done without being miserable. But maybe that's not done with actors. Parker's kinda the boss -- if I were her, I'd figure out a way to ditch Cattrall's character and show her the door. Samantha's getting to be kinda creepy anyway, IMO.

But then, I suppose, the plot would necessarily revolve around losing her, which might be worse.

Was somebody going to force you to watch it?

That headline is weird. Shouldn't it be "Parker, Cattrall's feud threatening 'Sex and the City'"? "Jessica" is SJP's middle name; her surname isn't "Jessica-Parker". Or is it?

As for killing her off...a bit dark for SATC, no? Though did they kill off Miranda's mother in law? I don't think we saw her in the movie. Or did we? I remember being disappointed b/c I like Anne Meara. |

At least, if two actors are mad at each other, they are pretty likely to remain non-physical about it. Imagine if two football players are feuding: lots of room for mayhem! Actors aren't (often!) involved in tackling each other!

I suppose, though, most judges would just say, "Pfft: they're actors. Let 'em have their snit-fits." What would the acting profession be if it weren't for inflated egos? Almost a prerequisite! Silas |

How many musical groups had intra-band feuds yet still made music? It seems like just about every one in existence for more than 4 years or so. Supposedly the Doors weren't talking to each other when they made 'LA Woman'. Even bands like Oasis and the Black Crowes, where brothers were the ones feuding!

I don't know. I do know that she was always my least favorite. Then again, as with a lot of shows I liked, I couldn't really imagine being friends with any of them in real life.
I used to at least be impressed with Kim Cattrall's ability to talk with a North American accent when she's from Liverpool, until I found out she mostly grew up in Canada.

Quite possibly! I have too many friends who like it and they've only just shut up about the first film. I may have to start shooting them if there's another one for them to gush over

Oh, how annoying. They should stick to gushing to each other.
