Is that real? Oh, how I hate misused apostrophes.

Almost, as bad as, excessive, comma, usage.

One of our engineers here does the comma thing. I'll be typing up something he has written in longhand & I have to spend an extra 15 minutes editing out the extra commas he sticks in incorrectly. I usually try to do it in my head before it hits the page which really slows down the typing.

Too much mental punctuation correction could leave you commatose!

Even counting "bold," (which I know you like because it resonates with that whole "bolde" thing you were rocking before the election,) they're fairly milquetoasty adjectives to describe a crusading news anchor, aren't they?

I think, as a fun intellectual exercise, we could try to think of three more insipid adjectives to describe her. I'll start:

Punctual.
Courteous.
Tidy.

I don't know her, but I think any news anchor would be these.

ETA: Hmm... those aren't adjectives at all are they?
  • Likable
  • Female
  • News-y

From the ad, it looks as if Greta has gotten another facelift. Or are we just a shopped nation now?

Toadying.
Deluded.
Mush-mouthed.

What? Oh, sorry, I thought we were coming up with adjectives that truly described Greta.

ETA: I think I like "delusional" better, though.
