Icon215 Prayers needed for Diehard's mom's boyfriend

Her Mom's boyfriend was rushed to the hospital the other day with internal bleeding. It turns out he has a herniated diaphragm and his stomach has worked up into his upper chest cavity.

He is still bleeding and was moved to another hospital. He's going in for surgery soon but from what Di was saying, he's not doing too well at this time.

Any and all prayers, well wishes, vibes, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I just got off the phone with Di a few minutes ago. He is in surgery now. I have a couple appointments this afternoon and will be leaving in about an hour but I'll update as soon as I can!

He was in surgery for 9 hours but there was a "glitch" with his his heart so a cardiologist is on hand for him. The surgery went as planned otherwise.

Di says thank you for all the prayers and vibes. They were a great comfort.

Whoa, nine hours. Glad to hear the surgery went well, except for the cardiologist part. Please let Di know we're still thinking of them.

I first want to thank tribrats for posting this for me and appoligize for not getting on sooner but things have been quite hectic for us all, I was in a car accident right before this all happened and am doing better.

Frank is now home and is on broths and puddings only for the next 2 weeks the surgery was quite extensive. He is doing pretty good with it though mom has been with him a lot and that is ok we are with one car and I am still afraid to drive.

Finally We want to thank all of you for all your support in such time of need. Please can I ask you to continue those vibes and thoughts the snopsters has the very best!

No problem Diehard. Gentle ((hugs)) to all. Wow, another car accident--take care of yourself too! Glad you're doing better. I can't wait for your family to be flat-out bored, as in nothing's going on, I believe we'll just sit down and do nothing!

Good to hear he's doing better. I do feel a bit silly for saying "PA vibes" coming your way, since you live in PA. But then, I never said I wasn't a big ole dork.

Continued vibes during his recovery!
