Fringe starts again tonight! 9 PM ET, don't miss it.
![]() I have to say, out of all the shows I'm watching this season, I think I've been looking forward to this one the most. DH is excited too, and it's rare that we're both excited about the same show, so that's good. I think I'll try to re-watch the last 2 episodes or so when I get home tonight, because I'm having trouble remembering what happened.

Definitely excited about the premiere tonight, too! After the season ended I had grand plans to rewatch the whole thing to try to put things together that I had missed. However, I realized last week that I hadn't done it yet, so it was kind of too late! I love all the little things that seem insignificant but end up playing a larger role later on.
What I'm not thrilled about is them getting rid of Charlie - he was my favorite!

I love Fringe, the clues and the patterns hidden in the episodes are so cool. I will definately be on the look out for the observer, the blue flashes, the GGGR color sequence and the RYB appearing together. I wonder if we are going to see glyphs before the comercial breaks and which would mean we could add more words to our list, that makes no real sense so far. I hear Peter is going to have a much bigger storyline this year and he will have more than just the occasional one liner. I can't wait to figure out how "our" Peter died and how AlterWalter felt about "our" Walter kidnapping AlterPeter...are you confused yet?
I have been waiting for this for a while.

Oh my goodness! I am so upset about Charlie, but I saw it coming a mile away! At least he doesn't just disapear, I was afraid that would happen. Good opening to this season, though, we are looking forward to each Thursday now
![]() If anyone is interested, I happened to find this site which is full of interesting nuggets.

![]() It took a while, but I almost trusted that Charlie was okay because you didn't see the dead Charlie that he had taken his face and body from, just the nurse. But then I figured it out. He had kept the nurse there and lured the agents. Actually, last night I was thinking that something similar happened on Alias, where Jennifer Garner's best friend was killed and replaced with a lookalike. I didn't watch the show much, but I remember that upsetting me in a similar way. And I've just realized that J.J. Abrams produced both shows. He's repeating himself a little. I hope they find a way to bring (good) Charlie back. Maybe bring AlterCharlie into this universe. But other than that, I loved this episode. I didn't think for a second that Olivia was in any danger, but the way she came to was cool. I'm also liking the new agent (can't remember her name right now). But from the commercials, it looks like she's Olivia's new partner. I love a show with a lot of kick-ass women. ![]() Also, as I have just seen Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist, I can now recognize Olivia's sister as Nora's awesome drunk friend. And Walter's delight at getting to ride in the back of the ambulance was just wonderful.

OH!
And I almost forgot my favorite part! When Broyles went up in front of the Washington panel that threatened to take away the Fringe division, one of the politicians said something like "We've given the Fringe division and the X designated cases too much leeway as it is." Shout out to the X-Files?!

X-Files was on tv in the guy's apartment in the beginning too, they showed it for a second.

Yeah, I ran that back a couple of times to make sure it was Mulder.

But what does that say? It gets all metaphysical then, because they're showing the X-Files as an entertainment show, but then later, there is talk during the panel about a kind of X-Files as something real. Hmm. Of course it could be, "Based on the true stories of the X-Files" kind of show in the reality that Fringe has. Or I could be thinking about this all too much.

What did everyone think of yesterday's episode? It was definitely a side episode, but it kept just enough of the overall plot to not be totally useless. I don't know, it seemed more horror movie to me than normal. Maybe because it didn't have anything to do with Walter's experiments back in the day. Or because I actually screeched a couple times when things jumped out...
I like Olivia's supersonic hearing that she developed after going to the other reality. That makes me wonder what kind of side effects Walter and Peter may have had.
