Well, is she just saying she doesn't want to go forward or is she saying that she genuinely lied? I mean, don't some victims back out of pressing charges out of fear or whatnot?

Link isn't working for me but I read somewhere else about the surviellance video. It said most of it took place in the bathroom, though, would that be taped? Though I guess the tape could show her voluntarily going into the bathroom with the guys...
ETA: htonl, I know what it said. I just mean that in a lot of situations, the victim (well, or supposed victim in this case) might say that it was consensual to avoid going through with a trial or anything out of fear, maybe. Okay, not the smartest thing ever, but I'm sure it has happened. ETA again: Oh, apparently there was a cell phone video... |
