Icon106 Massachusetts Institute of Technology rickrolled

Students have plastered the first eight notes of Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up on scaffolding surrounding the Boston research centre's Great Dome.

To be fair, an American paper would probably refer to anything in the ballpark as a London institution.

Come on - Cambridge is clearly part of Boston Metro area... It's like saying NYC rather than The Bronx. If you addressed a letter to Joe Blow, Mass Inst. of Tech, Boston, MA, it would still get to him.

Nitpick though. The Bronx actually is (officially) part of NYC.

Yes, it is part of the Boston metro area. So what? Metro areas are big, generally unofficial localities. Heck, Providence, RI is a part of the Boston metro area in a sense, since it is part of the Boston combined statistical area.

But no, it's not actually the same as the Bronx. The Bronx is a Borough of New York City, but Cambridge, MA is a totally separate city with a totally separate government, and it is actually in a different county (Middlesex county, while Boston is in Suffolk county).

Eh, I doubt it. Not with any regularity, anyhow. We've actually had problems with a company shipping us things to Cambridge rather than Boston. Didn't get to us until I called and corrected the address.
