If you're trying to make President Obama plausibly look like a Black Panther, it's probably best not to put a recent picture of his face on a famous picture originally taken when the president was but a boy.

I want to know why they changed both names in the caption, rather than just the one. Presumably Bobby Seale remains Bobby Seale in this alternate history.

ETA: I did a Google image search to confirm that the non-retouched person was actually Bobby Seale, and I think I might have an answer - this photo shows up 5 times in the first 20 results.

Yeah but you know, as he's the Antichrist, he has magical powers and can travel through time...

Well Darcus Howe is another person that the senders might want to "discredit" by pretending he was in the Black Panthers (albeit unlikely because he's British), and maybe they thought the picture already looked enough like a younger version of him that they didn't need to alter it.

Actually the fact that they've renamed the other person as Darcus Howe, and that it's such an obvious photoshopping of Obama, makes me think it was originally intended as a joke that doesn't quite work out of context...

Wow, I am too cynical. I saw the first name "Darcus" and I thought it was some sort of crude racist joke. Something about "darkies" and black American naming traditions. No idea there is a real person by that name.

Oh, dear dieties of the sinuses, that much water did not feel very good coming out my nose with that much force!

You are going to be purchasing keyboards en masse, so start taking names now.
