Kenya State Police investigating scam

It sounds like a deal too good to be true.

A promise of a $300,000 reward in return for an investment to help three men claim an African inheritance.

The West African advance fee fraud is not new. According to the urban legends website Snopes.com, it has been around since 1920 when it took the form of mailed letters asking for money to free a “boy held prisoner in Spain.”
