Disney Seeks Buzz with 'Toy Story' Re-Release

Next month, Disney and its Pixar Animation subsidiary plan to release in theaters 1995's "Toy Story" and its 1999 sequel, reformatted in 3-D and packaged as a double feature.

Walt Disney Studios Chairman Dick Cook says the goal is both to prime the pump for the 2010 release of "Toy Story 3" -- in 3-D and normal two-dimensional formats -- and to re-energize home-video sales of the first two titles.
