Comment: The softdrink 'Lilt' made by the Coca-Cola company, my co-worker
says its short for "Loving it Like That". Is that true or did he make it up? |

I did a google search for the drink, came up with a Wiki article it didn't say if Lilt had a meaning.
Lilt itself is a word it means: rhythmic swing or cadence, as well as: to sing or play in a light, tripping, or rhythmic manner. I did a general google search for loving it like that, but came up empty.

Am I the only person who remembers “Lilt” not as a soft drink, but as a brand of home permanent? That brand name would NOT make me feel like drinking it!
http://www.loti.com/fifties_home_perms.htm For those who enjoy weird internet input, here’s an explanation of the sexual symbolisms on the Lilt soft drink label. It came up third in a google search. http://www.subliminalworld.org/coke.htm#lilt
