Shifty Eyes Barry White songs used to encourage shark to mate in aquarium

Quote:
The deep seductive voice of Barry White has been called on at Sea Life London Aquarium to try and encourage Zorro, a six-year-old zebra shark, to mate.

Maybe it would prefer 'Mack The Knife'?

Looking at 'Zorro' I can't help but think 'Jaguar Shark' would have been a better name, what with the spots and all...

What makes them think human music would get a shark in the mood... or that Barry White would be any more successful than Raffi?

Psst... sharks aren't humans.

Well, according to "The Simpsons," Barry White's voice got snakes in the mood....

It's also an extraordinarily cliched view of 'mood music' as well. Does anybody still 'get down' to Barry White? If the shark wasn't eating properly would they try tempting it with fondue and Blue Nun? Give the sharks some credit...

Actually, no. It summoned the snakes to the Simpsons' house to save them from Whacking Day.

Yes, but as Mr. White noted, "I love the sexy slither of a lady snake."

Also, IIRC, Lisa said that the low frequencies would attract them because they can only detect direct vibrations through the ground.
